Card Reader will not sense cards

My Card Reader will not recognize my cards from my cameras. I have a MacBook Pro 16MB 2021 with OS13.4.1.
It stop reading cards about 3-4 days ago. There was an OS update in the past week. I am wondering if this is the reason it will not work. I do have a few more months on warranty. Any one else with the same problem.

French vs English MacBook Air 15

I just purchased the MacBook Air 15 online and just realized I bought the French version, it’s already been shipped from Quebec. Other than the few difference on the keyboard (I actually like the French keyboard better as I write often in both language), is there any other difference? I’m assuming the language of the laptop itself can be easily changed?

Deleting Trash

Strange, but I get the "deleting trash" window which won't actually empty the trash until I click the X to stop emptying. Anyone else ever see this?

Any Logic Pro users here?

I started with Logic Express about a dozen years ago after not accomplishing much with Cubase. Started with GarageBand and found it integrated with Logic nicely. When Logic Pro cost only $200 I was sold. No looking back and I’ve been using it since about 2010. Anyone else have experience with this recording software?

iOS and iPadOS 16.5.1(a) and (c)

Apple released version 16.5.1(a) Rapid Security Response on July 10, 2023 and soon after pulled the update. Seems there is an issue with some web sites not loading/displaying correctly.

On July 12, 2023, Apple released 16.5.1(c) to correct the issue created with the (a) version.

2019 iMac: persistent image (ghosting) and using Quebec's legal warranty.

Hi everyone,
Who would have thought a 3400$ iMac, purchased in March 2019, would be barely useable after 3 years.
Specs are 21.5" iMac with3.2 Ghz Intel 17, 4 GB Vega 20 card, 16 GBs ram.
Just prior to updating to Ventura the screen started ghosting: desktop icons would show through Safari and text would be highly pixelated.
Hoping this was a possible software issue I upgraded to Ventura but to no avail.
Add to this the inability to view purchased iTunes content via the Apple TV app or...
