Good news! Yosemite Wi-Fi problems fixed, I think...

Like many of us, I had lost the will to live owing to voodoo incantations being powerless at fixing random wifi connectivity since the 10.10.1 update (and for some since 10.10)

I have now installed the third beta of 10.10.2 on my MB Pro and presto, I am at full speed again. The biggest symptom was a Ping value of over x10 compared to Ethernet, accompanied by huge variations in moment to moment download speeds.

All fixed now, and stable for two days. I assume that the full release of 10.10.2 is now only days away as they typically run 3 iterations of Betas before the actual launch.

So a happier New Year then... :)
