Well I thought I'd try and update my method and try using Pages 5.2.2 but so far it has backfired.
For example, for years I've kept some folders with invoices and receipts I send out and I've always been able to use a "Stationary Pad" or boiler plate template kept in the same folder(s) for quick access.
No longer available with Pages v. 5.2.2 it seems as one cannot even create a Stationary Pad with Get Info, and even though one is allowed to create a template from within the app, and even an option to Save it somewhere convenient, it doesn't work when saved elsewhere. All one gets when opening one is a dialog if I want to Add to Template Chooser.
Has Apple started dropping the ability to use Stationary or Templates that used to work, with their latest apps, or is this a limit of Mavericks 10.9.5 that I'm using??
I sure don't like their direction if this is "The Way" things work now and why kill something that has worked for ages even back into System 8.x days!!
Not impressed obviously!! :(
