I am testing a new Access Point i got for free as a reseller, I am putting it through the ringer.
Areohive AP250 features dual radio, 3x3:3 MU MIMO, providing full 802.11ac technology performance with data rates up to 2.6 Gbps per access point using existing 802.3af PoE infrastructure. Built-in Bluetooth Low Energy for iBeacon/ other beacon technologies,
But i named it “Searching…”
that has confused me so many times lol
every time i check the wifi it says Searching… LOL
I am able to achieve 1.3Gbps - but nothing more - that makes senses as i only have a gigabyte switch and Cat 5E wiring in the house, to achieve speeds faster than that would depending switch, wiring and end point like my devices.
I am using the dual 5Ghz with band steering to alleviate congestion
As for the RF, Bluetooth features are great but more in a retail or resort environment so you can track 'hotspots', popular locations in a store as well as merchandise etc.
