Hi,
I hve a late 2011 MacBook Pro that came with 1333 DDR3 RAM; I upgraded it using 1600 DDR3 RAM and that worked fine.
That Mac just took an accidental coffee bath so it needs to be replacd - don't think there is any point trying to fix it.
I can get a 2010 MacBook Pro for $400-$500 as a replacement, just wondering if anyone knows if the 2010 can also use 1600 DDR3 RAM since I want to use the 16 GB I have in the 2011 unit.
Thanks
