My father-in-law has had issue with his iPad that wouldnt accept any passcodes. He tried erasing and restoring it through iTunes, but, in the process, cant get past the Activation Lock. I suggested he log into iCloud.com and erase and remove the device. It didnt seem to appear as a device.
