5K iMac as monitor with dead logic board?

As the title says, can I use a 5K iMac that has a dead or dying logic board as a monitor for a new M1 Mac Mini? We are looking at replacing this iMac here at work and I am trying to save where I can. It is a shame to waste a beautiful screen if it can still be used.
