Anyone use Moneyworks

My neighbour is new to Mac's. She has Moneyworks and is trying to use it. She asked me for help. This is not a user friendly program. She set up the time periods wrong and is trying to change the start date of her business year. I couldn't see any way to do this but I don't really know the program.
