I have a .mov file that seems to be locked by the system. It is greyed out in finder, and while I can see it, and also play the preview in finder, no other programmes can access it (i.e. itunes etc.)
When I try to move it or copy it, I get " one or more items cant be changed because they are in use."
I've shut everything down, relaunched Finder and even restarted - but the file remains locked. I've checked in Activity Monitor and there's nothing obvious running, although I may be missing something.
It is quite an important file, so I would like to get it back if possible.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
