Using Terminal

Hi guys!



I've been following some instructions and have hit a bit of a road block



The instructions are:



"Add the text below to the bottom of your hosts file. (/private/etc/hosts /et/hosts)



# Stuff



127.0.0.1 more stuff

127.0.0.1 more stuff"



what does it mean by /private/etc/hosts /et/hosts?





And how do I drop down and add the stuff below it?
