I have a late 2009 27" 2.8 Ghz Intel Core i7 iMac with 8GB of Ram and ATI Radeon HD 4850 512 MB Graphics chipset, and so far I ave been impressed with Mavericks ever since installing it over top of Snow Leopard 10.6.8. Everything works. I have had no problems with printing, networking, software (except for obvious incompatible apps), graphics and even troublesome drivers (eg tattieboogie 360 driver for the xbox 360 controller) work without a hitch!
No more PPC apps now, but, who cares (snif)?
Heres a question though, I had a USB superdrive that I got to work with Snow Leopard by editing some .plist files that STILL works. Internal AND external work great, and eject keys work with both Superdrives. Did Apple to remove this artificial limitation (yes it was), or am I just lucky?
P.s. I am so loving finder tabs.
