Time Capsule died... worth fixing?

Have a Apple Time Capsule (second generation, part 1, MB765LL/A - 1GB version) that stopped powering on over the weekend. Features aside, is it worth getting it repaired? I see a bunch of DIY options but aside from outright replacing the power unit, not sure I feel comfortable soldering... Anyone know of anywhere in the GTA or have hands on experience doing so? I used it as a secondary backup/signal repeater of my Fifth Generation Time Capsule (ME182LL/A - 3GB version), so I can get an Express to fill the coverage if need be...
