Kitchen range hood recommendations?

I'm slowly upgrading my kitchen, and it has come time to replace the combo microwave/range hood.



I'm ditching the microwave, and getting just a range hood, but need suggestions on brands/things to look for.



I've had a few friends suggest Kobe, Viking and Wolf, but reviews of all are rather sparse.



Any first hand experiences?
