I have a friend who has an older MBP running Snow Leopard. Her Mac Mini is running Mavericks and she does her payroll files in Numbers, but if she uses the MBP to create a Numbers file, it won't open it on the Mini.
Solution should be easy, just upgrade the MBP to Mavericks and all is good.
So when I go to her App Store, there is no Mavericks in her purchased page.
No sweat, think I, I will just download it from my App Store on my machine and use a USB stick to install on hers. Done deal.
But wait. When I try to download from my purchased area, I get the notice below.
So I call Apple and they cannot help me and they tell me to go to an authorized Mac dealer and buy a copy on disk.
Surely there is a way around this? Or is there? Any suggestions appreciated.
