I was looking for a place to post this, but it didn't really fit in the other war-related discussions we've had (for reference, see bottom of this post).
I'm intrigued by this new project of director Peter Jackson, bringing to life archival footage and audio interviews with soldiers who served in WWI. The remastering of old footage is quite stunning:
(Is the auto-detect of media disabled? I posted the full URL, in Advanced Edit mode, and it did not embed media despite that option being checked)
