Application to read Mac hard drive on PC

Looking for options to read a Mac-formatted hard drive that was removed from a MacBook pro.
Hard drive is now in a USB 2.0 case.

Tried HFSExplorer, it shows some file names but one cannot open any files on the PC.

What other options are there?
