thunderbolt 2 to usb c?

Trying to get some old DV footage from an old DV camera. It uses FW400. I bought a FW400 to FW800 adapter. From there I have the original Belkin Thunderbolt express hub that has FW800 in and goes out to thunderbolt 2 I believe. Problem is my MacBook Pro only has USB C. Every thunderbolt to USB C I see says for displays only, not for hard drives which I assume means not for data transfer.

Anyone know of a cheap adapter?
