I have an iphone 4. Will be travelling to Europe soon and want to use a temporary sim card. Phone is locked to rogers. They are willing to unlock for $50.00 Considering the age of the phone, I feel its a lot of money.
I have searched online for basic instructions, but I don't know what works, what doesn't. Some people reports indicate scams, other sites request $$$ to unlock it.
There has to be a basic way to unlock the iphone 4, with instructions for dummies that is free. I just don't know where to find them. HAS ANYONE here unlocked an iphone 4 without issues?
My firmware is 04.12.05 I tried iclarified, but couldn't find my firmware and many reported it was a scam.
Upon returning to Canada, I want to continue to use my rogers sim card.
Any reliable information would be welcome. My phone is out of warranty.
