Currently have four Apple devices operating on my home WiFi network. Purchased new iPhone 5 and MacBook AIr two nights ago. New iPhone connects to network no problem.
The Macbook AIr asks for a "WPA2 Personal" password but it does not connect. Doesn't accept the password.. times out. I muck around and try the "Join other network" option in the WiFi pulldown menu. Add in my network name and select the "WPA2" option and the password works.
Anyone know why my MB is asking for a "WPA2 Personal" password when it should be asking for a "WPA2" password?
It's a pain because every time the computer goes to sleep I have to go through the entire "Join other network" process to reconnect. Automatic reconnect fails because it is still trying for a WPA2 Personal password.
Thanks,
Thom
