Sometimes I'm sooooooooo clever I scare myself :D:D
Or maybe I'm just slow to find a solution everyone else already knows about :o:o
I'm sorting through boxes and albums of photos in preparation for the big job of writing our family history as I experienced it. You've tried it, you know what a pain in the arz it can be.
I have an all-in-one Canon appliance, but it prints wirelessly when it's on that shelf which is far from any desk-like furniture and I think I might have sent the all the printer cables to recycling.
So, I found a sturdy little box big enough to hold the iPhone. I put the picture to be scanned and move the iPhone until I can see that the picture is straight. The box holds the iPhone steady while I snap the picture.
The other part of my genius solution is to immediately place the scanned pictures into a separate album. After I'm done scanning the pictures that I want for my story, the rest will go in a shoebox for 2 years and if nobody looks at them in that time, they're going to the landfill.
