For Sale Mac Pro 5,1 (2010/Westmere) 8x2.4GHz w/ Applecare - $2500

Buy with confidence: This Mid-2010 Mac Pro is still covered by AppleCare (expires Feb 14, 2014). Very well maintained, regularly cleaned for dust since the first day. Passes Apple Hardware Test. Original box, manuals, discs, etc. available.

Carbon Computing sells a similar model (without the upgrades below) for $2800+tax; most benchmarks for the new Mac Pro are using highly-upgraded rigs costing upwards of $7000. This is a good choice for power users not ready to replace all their drives with Thunderbolt & USB 3 enclosures but who need some solid multithreaded processing power!

Located in Toronto, asking $2500. Would prefer to transact in person.

Benchmark results:

Condition:

- Slight scratch on the removable panel (see picture)

- Crack on Magic Mouse - the surface is still completely smooth and it functions normally (see picture)

- One of the PCI slot covers has been misplaced. If this is a concern, I can try to source a replacement

Optional extras (free!):
