Please bear with me, this isn't an Apple problem, but maybe Apple can solve it.
I have access to a viewsonic projector. Good. I have a nearly new Dell laptop. I know!
The projector is just old enough to just have RGB and s-video ports, while the laptop has a bunch of USB ports and HDMI.
I checked at everyone's favorite electronics store, The Source, and they assured me that there was no cable that could make this work.
My question. Is there a way? Is there a cable making place that can cobble one together?
Is there an apple cable that goes from USB to s-video or RGB?
I want this to work so we can show movies from Netflix on a pull down screen to entertain the old folks.
Here are pics of the available ports.
