Apple Cinema display 20" alternative?

Just for giggles-I was thinking maybe, one day, I'd like to replace my Apple Cinema Display

--one day--not in the forseeable future-but one day... So, any hints on something that might come close to it? I haven't really much yet, and the new Apple Monitors are DisplayPort and Thunderbolt, which I don't have---Yet......
