Numbers, entering today's date

There surely must be a fast, convenient way to enter today's date in a Numbers spread. Haven't found one and Numbers Help is no help on this one. Command-hyphen which does exactly that in FileMaker Pro, another Apple product, doesn't work in Numbers.



Right now I'm copying another date to the clipboard, selecting the target field, paste, then revise — a very tedious process.
