Here's my setup that I use frequently at work:
iPhone 4 32GB internet connection tethered to ipad 16gb via Bluetooth.
This setup sorta works but my internet connection goes dead after a few minutes of activity. For example, I'll tether and then open safari and go to a website. I'll read the content and then go to browse to another page or try and stream music and it says no internet connection.
If I go in settings > Bluetooth it still shows the status as connected. My current work around is to flick off the Bluetooth on my ipad and then flick it on and reconnect. I've tried using personal hotspot but I find that the iPhone SSID often isn't broadcast and takes for ever to get picked up by other wifi enabled devices.
What gives? Why can't it stay connected to Internet? Both devices are running the latest iOS 7 version.
