swap macbook pro hard drive with SSD?

I have a unibody macbook pro, a core 2 duo model. I am cleaning it up, its my sisters old one. I want to drop in an SSD to replace the hard drive. Do I need anything specific to make this work as in brackets or does it just snap in place and stay there?
