After our morning dim sum yesterday (Sunday), we stopped into a nearby Chinese market and purchased several fresh pig's feet - the butcher sawed them into 3-4 pieces per each foot.
They're on the menu for dinner today - and all initial preparations have been done. They will be cooked in our pressure cooker - with water, flavoured with white vinegar & white wine, plus, chopped carrot, celery, onion, and some cayenne pepper and ginger, and will be served with mashed potatoes and steamed bok choy.
Anyone willing to share some of the stuff they purchase, cook, and enjoy that many others might/would wonder "good grief, why would you even consider eating that"?!! :)
