The tech said that, by installing the larger drive, my machine would be laggy and it would best to install the 1 TB in a case and attach via USB rather than install it within the machine.
Seeing that the OEM drive is dying, I thought going the 1 TB route would be ok.
The drive I have to install is:
Newegg.ca - Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
