I have been a member of "groups" on Yahoo for ten years or more. Some three weeks ago was advised by Yahoo that my account was to be discontinued as my account had been hacked.
However signing up for Yahoo all over again is proving very difficult.
The password for starters has to be very very very difficult to break and have 8 to 32 letters
along with all the !@#$%^&*() as well as upper and lowercases and numerals.
Have tried to come up with something different each time, and the reply is the password is weak, try again. Ten or eleven tries means nothing to them.
The other problem for me is their request
for a confirmed cell phone number which I would assume
would in turn require some form of texting if they did ring.
I don't have a cell/mobile phone. Wouldn't even know how to text.
My question then to assembled is how to I get Yahoo to
respond and at least allow me back on. In my case I have
in the past used Yahoo Groups, most of the groups
I do follow came to Yahoo after their parent company(s)
were merged with Yahoo.
Any suggestions?
