Before I went Mountain Lion, I could see the print queue and could cancel the printing of a document if I needed to.
Now that the printer driver is no longer driving the printing -- it's my understanding that Preview does -- I no longer have access to the print queue. I do see "Open Print Queue" under "Print & Scan" in System Preferences, but clicking on it has no effect.
When I click on the printer icon at the bottom of the screen, at the top I get "Printer Proxy", which is a useless thing.
I've tried printing in Word, Safari, Evernote, etc., and I get the same problem all the time.
"Print & Scan" does give me access to Maintenance, which is very good, but I do need a way of cancelling printing once in a while. (For example, let's say I accidentally request 100 copies instead of 10...)
Thank you.
