I've been using Time Machine to back up my laptop for the past few years. While the program works great, I have twice had issues with the external hard drive. The one I am using now appears to be damaged to the point where I can not save to it, but should be able to recover the files.
I am looking for an external hard drive that I can use with time machine and one that wont cause me any trouble. The hard drive just sits at my desk, so I have no idea why I am having so much trouble.
Someone recommended using a flash hard drive, but I am pretty unfamiliar with this.
Any suggestions/recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
