How do I UPgrade from El Capitan to Yosemite?

So I took the plunge to update to El Capitan as I kept getting the stupid update box, I figured why not get the latest and greatest... it turns out the latest and greatest also means my trustworthy Canon MX300 no longer works...there are no drivers for it.

Is there a way to easily downgrade to Mavericks or Yosemite? Or rather, upgrade?
