The keyboard on my Macbook (running OS 10.7.5) is defective. My workaround (for the time being) is to use a soft rollup external keyboard (kindly lent by a friend).
My screen brightness is lower than 50%, and I would like to turn it up to maximum. When I hit F2 using the (defective) keyboard on the Macbook itself, the brightness indicator briefly flashes on screen, but does not go up.
If I hit F2 on the external keyboard, it does nothing. Is there some other way to turn UP the brightness of the screen? I am having great difficulty reading, so I apologise for any tyos...
respectfully, and TIA...
