I see that it is ready to ship on Apple's website, but I want it before the weekend.

MacPro Start Up - won't turn on

Hi Folks,

I have a 2009 Mac Pro (my main machine for years)

Last week on start up it kept chiming....I shut it down, turned it on and it went away I didn't give it much thought.

Today my screen filled up with little square pixels all over. Out of nowhere, not sure what happened.

I had to force quit to shut it down. Upon re-starting it keeps playing the internal chime, and won't go further than that.

Is the machine toast or can I salvage it somehow?

Mac M1 and installing Windows 11 in Parallels

Another forum I am on has a user that is trying to install Windows 11 in Parallels on their M1 Mac. Has anyone got any ideas on if this is possible?

The Microsoft FAQ for Windows 11 does not list the M1 chip as compatible with Windows 11. But then again, it says my 5 year old Windows laptop with intel i5-5200U is not compatible????

Accessibility on Macs

I don't see (Yeah pun intended!) a lot of accessibility threads.

So just testing if anyone is interested.

I just discovered a solution to an accessibility issue I was having ...

Say something online ... A Tweet, some copy here and I want to copy it.

In accessibility mode, (All the "inverts!") it is generally not readable without some work ... it's either invisible in Mail or in Word it has a box around it and thus everything has needs to be changed ... formatting and spacing and yada...
