is iTunes Match any better in syncing w/ iOS8?

Has anyone joined Match who had issues with it freezing during syncing in stages 2 or 3, and is the issue resolved now?



I noticed my iTunes syncing has been resolved since iOS8 and hope Match is too.

How to prevent computer from switching networks??

Hi. I have a MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. The other day I upgraded my Rogers internet so needed a new modem. I set up a new network connection with password on both laptops and it worked fine. The next day, I noticed that the internet speed seemed a bit slow so checked the network connection and somehow it had switched from my network (Ariell) to one called WLAN without password protection. I switched it back again but it just kept switching back. This happens on both laptops. I literally switch it a few times a day but it just keeps switching back to WLAN.



So to fix it, I've tried going into Network preferences, made sure the network name "Ariell" was selected and then checked "ask to join new networks" because I thought this meant it would ask me to join another network before just switching over. This didn't fix it and it kept switching back to WLAN.



Next I went into the advanced settings in Network preferences, made sure Ariell is the first network listed and deleted the other network names including WLAN. But again, it still keeps happening and reverting back to WLAN. How do I stop this and make sure that it only uses my own network? Thanks very much!

Lightning SD Card Reader + iPad Air: not working

I can't get my photos to transfer from my SD card to iPad via this adapter.



Here's what I do:

1. turn on iPad

2. plug in adapter

3. insert SD card



It should automatically open up Photos and transfer them onto the app...but it does nothing.



Any ideas what's going on? I've tried 2 SD cards to make sure it wasn't the card, and still no luck.



NEVER Mind! My iPad was in a keyboard case and not allowing the adapter to plug in completely, therefore wasn't connecting to transfer!!!!

Apple Remote desktop 3.2 retail dvd version into app store

Anybody know how to access latest version of the softwares from applestore given that I have a retail DVD version of the software?



I used to install the software and enter the cdkey in order to be able to update to 3.7.x from the app store, but now that I am on Yosemite, i am unable to install 3.2.



note: Aperture appeared in my account/purchases without issue, but not ARD

What's a fair trade for iPad Air

Looking to trade my 32 GB iPad Air with Wi-Fi (Space Gray) for an iPad Mini Retina display with Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity. 32 GB. A7.



Seems to me like it could be a straight-up swap and fairly similar devices -- just trading screen size for cellular connection.

Replacement windows windsor area.

Hello all. Anyone have an experience with replacement windows? I am in the windsor area and I am wanting all vinyl, low e, insulating glass spacers. My problem is who to get them from. I have a short list: Home Depot (JenWeld windows), Meloche( they make their own for over 60 years) and Centennial. Anyone have any experience...yea or nay?....
