I must have hit the wrong keys somehow because now all my folders look like this:

There must be some kind of way out of here. Anybody know how to fix this, please?

SSD failing?

I use the nifty third-part menubar appl SMARTReporter. It's telling me every few weeks that I drop a percentage point in performance (see screenshot).

iPad Pro M1 and Apple Pencil Generation 1

According to the Apple website, the new iPad Pros being released tomorrow are compatible with the Apple Pencil generation 2. Nothing is said about the 1st gen. Am I correct in assuming that my Apple Pencil (actually the refresh version of gen 1) won't work?

Changing Apple ID?

LOVE the new look for the forum!
My sister (not tech savvy at all), her husband just passed away. He had the 2013 Mac Air set up with his ID, hadn't upgraded his laptop from OS X Mavericks. I can't get into his ID because it asks to verify with a text code, and she cancelled his phone. How do I help her change to her ID so she can access the App Store?
It's weird. She can access the App Store on her iPhone with her own ID. But not on the laptop.

Why does my App Store updates page look like this?

I had a similar problem a few years back with Movie Trailers web page. Never got to the bottom of it. Been happening for a week now; nothing had changed before the occurrence.

Unwanted Contextual Menus.

So El Capitan, 2011 MBPro. More often than not, left clicking on icons or the desktop brings up a contextual menu. How do I squash this bug?

Started quite recently across multiple user accounts. No recent software updates!
Possibly bad mouse? Using Logitech 2 button wired mouse.

Also wondering if Xtra-finder could be at fault but have used it for several years with no issues. Unfortunately there is no off button for XtraFinder, you have to uninstall.

unknown error occurred -50

Just downloaded the latest update for my iPad and, when trying to initiate the update, all I'm getting is "An unknown error occurred -50."

Corrupt download? It looks complete in my iPad software update folder.
