it was web based seminars / labs.. [ in the comfort of my home at least- locked myself in the basement] by the end, my nervous got the best of me.. any how.. I past the two courses. 1944/2000
but wow, never expected it to be as they said "BOOT CAMP"
I think i showered once in the week, never ate; drank coffee and monsters all week. LOL
My wife and kids are happy to see me emerge from the basement.. skinner, hairier - never shaved either. lol

Anyone use the new Canada Revenue Agency Auto-fill my return service
Just wondering if anyone managed to use the new Auto-fill my return service successfully with their income tax software this year???
I'm far from impressed and now it seems I have to start over again, at least using the TaxFreeway for Mac 2015 software, as the auto-fill just duplicated and in some cases triplicated some of my forms with my pension amounts, and even one with zero data included.
Complete waste of time IMHO!!!
I hope others had better success but sure not impressed here.

I Won An iPad Mini 4
Very inexpensive raffle ($2 a ticket, 3 for $5). Ended up winning a 64Gb iPad Mini 4. It's still in the shrinkwrap because I don't know whether to keep it or to sell it. I've got a 12" iPad Pro.
With my FileMaker development, I could keep it as a test device.
However I do know that when people win golf related prizes that are merchandise that GolfTown sells, GolfTown will provide them with a store credit if they want to 'return it' (even though it was probably not purchased through GolfTown.
Are there any dealers that sell Apple product that will do the same?

EBay insurance!!
I need some quick advice for my inland who are purchasing e trailer for $2000 on eBay. The money is being held in escrow and they just got this email from eBay requiring the pay $1000 for insurance which is refundable. Here's some of its content. Any reason for concern?
Due to the high vehicle value amount, under the federal law eBay has to report this transaction. In order for us to initiate the shipping process, the buyer needs to insure the item. The insurance and forwarding taxes will be refunded to you after the inspection period ends via cashier check. This requirements is mandatory in order to complete the transaction.

Portable Monitor for MacBook Air
Greetings Mac brain-trust. I'm running a mid-2011 11" Macbook Air that is perfect for my road-warrior duties. However, there are times when I want to display something to a client or small group and the 11-inch screen is just too small. I tried using a pico-projector and found the image typically washed-out or a decent projector either too big or requiring a screen. So, I've been considering a light-weight portable monitor. I've been looking at an "ASUS MB168B 15.6" HD Portable USB-Powered Monitor" but was wondering if anybody in ehMac-land might have any experience or advice in this area. It appears that this particular model is backward-compatible to the USB2 port on my computer, but again, any advice most appreciated. Bobby

EhMac Outage
For those interested, EhMac was down for about 12 hours yesterday. I e-mailed Vericalscope and they explained the outage:
