New MBP 14” and screen concerns

Just ordered a MBP 14 inch and really don’t want the screen to get the same abrasions that I see on my early 2015 MBP 13” screen. I took care of my MBP so I assume they’re all from the keyboard. I thought it was only the previous MBP screens that sustained “damage” from the keyboard. Are the newer MBP’s any different, or should one consider a screen protector to protect the screen from the keyboard?
