Really dumb Apple Music question!

Anyone subscribe to Apple Music? I am just wondering how you like it. I have an Apple TV and one of the "channels" if you will is radio. It certainly covers my music needs, that and my iPod and iTunes. My thoughts are that my "radio" channel may go bye-byes, and one wonders about iTunes as well. So is Apple Music worth it and, will it be my only choice when Apple's smart speaker come to market.

Older Mac Mini does not like Open Office

I'm having trouble with the version of Word on my Mac Mini and several people have recommended Open Office.

However, my computer will not open it as it has an "unidentified developer" and the computer will only open apps from the App Store or "identified developers."

The Mini is about 7 years old and I made the error of installing Sierra on it several months ago.

Memory is 2GB.

Any suggestions, or is it a lost cause?

For the record, my version of Word has suddenly decided it wants my Secret Squirrel code number that I used to instal it ... 7 years ago. I have no clue what it is anymore and have so far been unable to find the paperwork, and would prefer not to pay Microsoft the fee they demand to give me a new one.

Old Mac os

Hi

I just bought myself a new (for me) Mac mini. So I want to sell my old iMac (mid 2007). It has the 10.10 operating system on it and it could take the 10.11 os which would be nice to install so the computer would sell better. This computer will not upload the 10.12 os.

From where could I download the 10.11 os not currently available on the Apple website?

Thanks

Files transfer

Hi

I just bought a used Mac mini (late 2014) with 8gb ram and 1to hd.
Is there a way, a software or a method to transfer the hd from the old iMac (mid 2007) to the new mini, apart from going to a Mac store and pay money?
I did use SuperDuper! to transfer the hd from the iMac to a wired hd, but it won't transfer this hd to the mini.

Thanks

ehMac has become an embarassment to Canadians

Acidic vitriol overload.

Just a quick glance through here, and this place seems to have become a desert of posts of despicable evil negativity untruths and ugly nastiness. Overrun by radical right wing extremists overfed a diet of fake news.

If the tone of this place was anywhere near this bad long ago, I would never have participated in any way shape or form. I am sure any reasonable minded person would find the content of many of these threads extremely disgusting.

Way too much of the content here is extremely unreasonable as well sorely lacking in kindness and gentleness, much less anything positive.

This place has become an embarrassment to real Canadians, especially those that like using Apple products.

Operation iPad

OK folks, I just might return to the world of Apple. While I really like my Thinkpads, I can't stand Apples current Macbook lineup and will never buy another one unless things really change in that product line.

I don't see Blackberry making the grade any time soon either. Tried to hold out for a Canadian product as long as I could.

I want to further minimize and increase portability. So I want opinions on the viability of running my entire digital and online world exclusively on an iPad and an iPhone. Better for traveling.

I think this is doable, but I want to make sure that I have not overlooked anything. I don't want to come to a point where I might feel that I needed a Thinkpad or any other PC because I could not do something on the iPad.

I have a first generation ipad mini. Don't use it much and think it is too small to replace a laptop.

Do I need an iPad Pro, or will an iPad be good enough?

Does anyone else here do this?

Your thoughts and opinions.
