OK, I understand many ehMac members do not use their Superdrive, but I do - a lot!
Im transitioning to Yosemite 10.10.5 & until now most problems were not fatal. However, after installing the latest Security update Im unable to burn DVDs with Toast Titanium. (Writing starts, but fails shortly before completion )
I initially thought my Superdrive had failed, but in researching the problem I found a few references to disc burning failing under Yosemite.
I switched back to 10.6.8 and succeeded in burning the same file/video to DVD.
Im now trying to determine where the fault lies.
Have any members experienced DVD burning problems under Yosemite?
