Phone upgrades and hand-me down-ing

So.. tomorrow I'm going to get a new iPhone (6 or 6S, not entirely sure yet), which will free up my iPhone 5.

Does anyone know if once the iPhone 5 is unlocked from Fido, will my wife be able to use it on Bell?
