J have a MacBook pro running 10.6.8 that I want to upgrade to El Capitan.
But before doing that I want to delete all duplicate files on that Mac.
Two applications seem to be recommended for that

Has anyone used either one of those?
I don't mind spending a few bucks but I want to be sure the app doesn't identify duplicates that aren't true duplicates.
