I bought a couple of Mac Mini Servers QC i7s - late 2012s..
upgraded the ram to 16GBs on both
and then to make the units fly - plus maximize the storage I installed a couple of Seagate firecudas.. 2x2TB each in each unit.
I am using them as servers - i did a soft raid level 1 - with a company called http://ift.tt/2dfjc7n
been using them for over 10 years, amazing product.
now these minis fly like they have SSDs..
