Love is better, but that is hard to come by. I have loved and been loved, but I have received and given much more kindness and respect in my life.
I think that kindness and respect is a good starting point. Loving each other is a great ideal, but how about we just start with kindness and respect.... Then maybe that can lead to love.
In this day and age that sounds all "hippy dippy" I know, but I believe it to be true.
