In this clip, the sheriff talks about Christian values ROTC. At one point, he says "in this country, we have freedom of religion, but not freedom from religion.
Putting aside the current controversy, I'm wondering what he meant by that statement. Does he mean that you can choose a religion, but you can't choose to not have religion. Like to be an American, you must declare some religion?
