Curious if anyone here who has collected this and how long it took?
My father passed and we filled out the paperwork the same week. It's now hit 20 weeks since then.
CPP says 8-12 weeks for processing.
Estate is all settled, this is our last item ironically. Disgusting really. Someone without means would have long buried their loved one and not received this money would be up the creek (not our situation luckily).
Also lovely that this $2500 is a taxable "benefit".
