iPhoto Question

I have a problem. My daughter has backed up all her photos onto an external HD. She now wants to retrieve them on her computer but cannot as the version is not the same. I am able to retrieve them on my computer. So,

1) How do I get them to her computer

2) is there a way I can get them to her iCloud account from my computer?
