Been a while since I last posted to you all, my friends. But here's one that stumped a group of our students in Grade 8:
"To estimate the probability that a new baby will be a boy, Tara rolls a die. She says that if she rolls a 1, 2 or 3, she will predict a boy and if she rolls a 4, 5, 6 she will predict a girl. Using this method, estimate the probability that, for the next 10 days, the first two babies born will be boys."
