I had to open up my MacBook Pro A1226 for the first time to fix a flaky left fan, and managed to do that without a problem.
While the case was open, I replaced the original HD with an SSD hard drive. I've run into a problem now where once the case is put back together with all screws etc, the HD cannot be found. If I leave the upper case (keyboard) open, it boots up perfectly. When I close it, the HD cannot be found. The screen displays the folder with the ?
Any Ideas? I've attached largeish pictures
