Hate Mavericks - How do I go back to 10.8 ?

I kind of liked Mavericks for the first few days, but it has become more problematic as the days go by … applications open v-e-r-y slowly now, and getting worse … some functionality in Mail app disappeared … Safari has gotten slow as molasses … iPhoto keeps freezing and I have to force quit over and over … all this even after using the latest version of Onyx to make things play nicely. Also, once I go back, will I lose my iPhoto library since it was updated to operate the Mavericks version of iPhoto …



My computer is an early 2011 intel Core i7 15" macbook pro that was running fine till I succumbed to software envy and installed the first iteration of Mavericks …
